OK.. It came off a 2002 Dodge 3500 out of a wrecking yard in Missouri. It was a clapped up farm truck. Lots of mods and welded parts on it. The axle from the tag is a Dana 60 off a 2000 3/4 ton truck. The stamped numbers that are on the housing show that it came off a 2002 3500. It has a CAD system on the right side. It had 4.10 gears in it. It vents from the CAD housing and the top of the diff. The axle shafts are 35 spline (At least thats what I counted several times) and they are larger than the axles out of the dana 60 that I am replacing in this truck. The axle housing tubes measure 3.5" While I had the axle taken apart to replace all the bearings and seals the ring gear did measure 10.5. I installed Free wheeling hubs from Spyntec which are copies of ford super 60. The hubs Im using are for a Dana 70 axle. Like I said I don't know the total history of this axle. It has had some mods during its life I am sure.
