I have a big truck gearshift knob with the air shifter switch and would like to use it for disabling the front axle from engaging when in low range. Want to end up with two wheel low range. There are two vacuum lines that run from the top of the transfer case to the shifter on the front axle and from there I'm lost about which one to ty my shift nob splitter into. My shop manual doesn't mention any details about which line does what. Can I just put my splitter in to one of these lines and which one?

Thanks for the help

You could cut out the vac source before the xfer case. Back of the engine near firewall is the source.
