Not real easy, but several dealers I spoke with always pull the cab to do this. I thought Ford's, and Chevy's were the only ones that did this.
Anyway they did a great job, and even detailed truck for me.

Did they replace the Front Cover Gasket and a Crank Seal or did they replace the Front Gear Housing and/or Gasket?

On mine I did the front cover gasket and crank seal, I did not remove the gear housing.. but it was not a terrible job (much easier than the clutch on the NV5600!).. I can't imagine the extra effort to remove the entire cab for that...

I bet it was super easy to work on tho w/o the truck in the way! That's how I did my Bronco....

Yes I freaked out when he said the cab would have to come off, but checked with several large volume service departments, and a couple said they remove the cab also.
The work order says, removed the front cover, cam, timing housing, and replaced gasket. I guess the crank seal was ok since I don't see it listed.
BTW its a 2018 2500 with 41k mikes. I told my wife it might be time to trade for a 3500, since used prices are crazy high now.

Yeah, what I thought. A bit bigger job if removing the Housing. Pulling the cam would be easier with the cab off.

How did you get the truck intake to clear the hood? I always heard the 5.0 Exploder or mustang intake was needed.

Closer look guessing its a newer Bronco not an EB, nevermind.

Nice truck!

Ya know the funny thing is that now I built my shop and installed a lift, I do about 1/2 the wrenching I did when I was a younger man. It does make service and tire rotations a breeze. I tell people I am done working on cars (until the next itch) but I guess I just miss the punishment of pulling a TH350 trans on my back in the gravel when its 35deg outside...o_O
