Have '90 W250 CTD with bad front pinion. Think its a Dana 60 3. 54 Front Reverse. Anybody fixed one? What should I expect to pay for the new parts(R&P , Pinion Bearings, Seals). Any help would be appreciated

It's most likely a Dana 61 and not a reverse rotation. May want to check to see if the pinion nut has backed off. That will wipe out the seal fast. You might be able to salvage the rest. It is only the front and shouldn't see much use as compared the rear. Driving around with the hubs locked tends loosen the pinion nut. Dodges from snow country are prone to this. I guess its too cold to unlock the front hubs when done getting out of the ditch..... I would guess... .

Your showing a 90 model in your sig. If that is the one with a blown pinion it should be a 3:08 gear. Most auto's for that year didn't have 3:54's being a non OD trans.

I am not sure if Dodge still has the front axle 3:08's in stock anymore. I have never checked on them.
