2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front Door Windows falling off track....

Has anybody had problems with this? I recently noticed that sometimes, my window will tilt forward, and the motor gets bogged down. . I am not sure how the glass is attached, but would like to know if there is a way to fix it. .

The part that holds the glass on the bottom ( I forget what its called and what it looks like) is broken. You are going to have to remove the door panel and reattach. I wouldnt operate the window until you get it fixed, you will bugger up the motor.

Yup. I put some silicon seal in the thingy to help hold the window for the longer term fix.

i had a similar problem about a year ago. i let it go to long and the window fell completly out of the track. i took it to an auto glass shop and they reglued it in. i dont think it was very expensive and it saved me taking the door apart myself.
