"Old Ugly" may need replacement front axle(complete), front axle springs, steering linkages, steering box and front bumper. Any ideasOo. ?

Am also considering a conversion, using "Old Uglys" motor, clutch, transmission and t-case, need a "host". Last thought is; parting-out the old hunk of iron. Any thoughts? I can't afford another truck and am not able to do heavy work. GregH

i found a new bumper for my truck on ebay for under 200 bucks with shiping . i orderd a new grille from the same company that will be here today if the quality of the grille seems pretty decent i am going to order the bumper to

I'm not concerned with the bumpers, sheetmetal or the grill. The drivetrain has gotta work correctly, before cosmetics figure into the equation. Ordering stuff is not an option as the shipping charges would be horrendous. I did get a price on a used rear step bumper. $100. 00 at Denver used truck parts. That is a reasonable price. Have to get the meat of the matter squared away, first! GregH

Greg, you can try Rock Auto. There is a TDR discount there too. I'm not sure what they will have that you need, but every little bit helps.

Either a parts truck is in order or salvage parts. If you were closer I would personally assist in any heavy work you are not able to do...
