i know i am beating a dead horse here but i still have not found the answer here so bear with me.....

'06 stock mega 4x4 auto, front end shimmy thru the steering wheel only happens at 45 and 65 mph. road conditions do not effect it, tire pressure good, just rotated tires, no slop in sterring colum, nothing seems lose under neith. when i stomp on it i do not notice at all, hubs seem tight, brakes are good. i bought the truck with 16k miles on it, knew the owner, it was not beat up nor was wrecked. so except for spending $$$$$$ and replace every thing what the hell#@$%!#@$%!, the truck is not even leveled yet... .:confused:

thanks.....

There is a TSB out for it,I got it done to my 06 at the dealer. Tie rod ends and a new steering stabilizer. It worked on mine

Have your tires checked first. Balance, and or tire wobble on the balancer. It's cheap and keep it simple. Sounds like a tire dynamic imbalance.

Check the u-joints in the front drive shaft they froze up on my 04. 5 allot sooner then they should have. Just a thought when you are grasping at straws? I am chasing a couple of demons on my truck and it is ******* me off. Good luck.
