Both my front tires are worn out at only 32K miles. Anyone have problems getting an alignment to fix it. I'm going to replace both after an alignment,
just hope the they then wear evenly. I had the L/R upper ball joints and one hub already replaced under warranty.

I just had the safety axle bracket recall done and the T05 SCR replaced with the emissions recall.

factory tires? they are known to be junk. get some cooper HT. or bfg HT's goodyear's and see how those do.
how were they worn out? outside edges? ?

Cummins12V98 claims they come with to much toe in from that factory and also clains one should run 80 pounds inflation in the dually front tires all the time. SnoKing

My 11 HO Dually and current 15 Dually both had 1/4" toe. My alignment guy that knows his **** dials it way in compared to the factory max. I think he actually aligns even tighter. I will be seeing him this week to get an alignment since I am getting new skins. YES 80psi ALL the time on a Dually front axle.

Me too. At 27k the fronts are 7/32 inside tread depth and 4/32 outside. They have been rotated at each oil change. I had the alignment done and was told by the tec that it was toed in too much. I will replace the tires soon and see how the new ones wear.

As for OEM tires..... I have had much better luck with the Firestone Transforce AT's.

The the FS TF HT's have both worse traction and worse wear. But Firestone Transforce in general are not highly recommended by anyone.i got mine cheap already mounted on runs I wanted on Ebay

Thanks for all the info and pics. Seems I'll be ok with an alignment then. Yes, factory off road tires, 80psi, Just never had so much wear so fast. My 98DRW never had an alignment or that kind of wear in the first 15 years. My 2014 outside edges are whats worn off at 32K miles. I'm going to replace the front two only as the dual rears are ok. My local dealer offered me $43K cash for my truck this week and was pointing out it's flaws, deciding to keep the truck as downsizing will still cost me $40K++. Not sure I'd be happy with less of a truck.

An RV transporter over on CF got in excess of 100k on two of his OEM Transforce H/Ts.

I received 66,976 miles out of my Transforce H/Ts. There was a little more life left in them, but DOT requires a minimum of 4/32nds on steer tires.

I would recommend them easily

My FS HAt's had such poor traction, my wife told me to give them away. They had little tread left after 25,000, I didn't argue. I gave them away along with the 17 inch rims. I like the 18 inch runs much better. It might be since the 17 inch runs have lower weight rating, they don't last as long. I was comparing 17 inch HAt's with 18 inch AT"s.

I like the A T's better for both traction and wear. But since I have a manual transmission, mine (torque converter) transmission is almost always locked up. So they might wear different??????

I am closing in on 65 k on my original general tires , doing a 7 tire rotation every 7500 miles , getting pretty close to the wear bars so I will replacing them before winter
