Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting Silicone Spray

From my Uncle

My wife and I have Diamond memberships, but haven't had a chance to use them yet. The guy we bought them from (probably the same deal your brother got) has though. He has been at least 3 times that I know of, and has nothing but good to say. Must be decent because he keeps going back.

The guy that owns it (Piazza sp?) has been in some hot water in the past due to property development issues, but that is totally separate from the firearms training. Everything I hear about the firearms training seems to be top notch.

My wife and I are planning on going to the 4 day handgun class this fall when the weather cools off. We were going a few weeks ago, but a family crisis forced us to reschedule.

Having never been or had any experience, I'll relate some 3rd party experience..... (mostly reputable sources I know and trust with my life)... . I've trained and worked with several people that have been, all law enforcement officers. Most speak well of it, but they didn't seem too overly impressed. I DO know some real meatheads that went and say they learned a lot, but, then again, I was surprised they could read..... :D

As for civys that have never had much of a chance to shoot, I'd wager it'd be money well spent. It's certainly better than shooting yourself in the leg when you should be aiming at someone down the hall... . or freezing up and not being able to pull the trigger when you need to. Or, just as well, learning proper firearm handling and accuracy so you don't shoot yourself or loved ones without meaning to..... All sad scenarios that can be avoided by simply investing a little time and money into training yourself to be better, which is what Piazza is all about.....

And not to step on your toes, but if you have it, use it!! It could potentially save your life. I'll tell you from experience, law enforcement officers can't be everywhere all the time. Your chances of surviving a violent confrontation go up several hundred percent when you arm yourself, first with knowledge, then with experience, and finally, with adequate weaponry. The latter is useless without the prior. And chances are, you'll have a good time, too!!;)

I know that your brother must really like you since Front Sight is expensive. they also bombard your email and mailbox constantly; well past the point of being downright pushy and irritating.

Any training is better than no training as a rule, and I'm sure they do a good job. But you might want to see what area Izaak Walton leagues and NRA organizations offer, too. Our state DNR has excellent courses, as does Brownells, just down the road a ways.

But since you already have a (what did he call it?) Diamond membership all paid for, i'd sure be going and getting some money's worth out of it. But I'll be very surprised if they don't then try very hard to sell you an "emerald membership" or something, too. Guard your wallet!

I've never been there, but I know some individuals who shoot for a living.

Front site. . or should I say the owner is generally known as an asshat.

Maybe it's for his training?

Maybe it's because he uses graphic vids w/o permission to make money on.

I dont know.
