I posted this once but thing I put it in the wrong section as I only got 1 reply. I am getting mixed info from other folks. I have heard front coil springs from 1994 to 2012 will interchange. Does anyone have any knowledge on this subject. SD truck springs list the same part number for those years but other sites don"t. I want to put new springs in my 1995 and have a new set of 2012 3500 springs free for the taking but want to make sure before the work starts. Thanks, Ron

Other then the spring rates, the '94-'09 where the same, I do not know about 2010 and newer, but its is still the same design as the earlier trucks. The 2013 3500 went to a different style of front suspension so there is a good chance those would not work

94-2012 2500/ 3500's and 2013 2500s have the same springs other then spring rates and some lengths but they would all physically fit in any truck of those years. I would imagine springs from a 2012 would be pretty stiff for your truck, you could measure the coil diameter if you really wanted to find out but they will physically fit.
