I have a 2014 2500 2wd with 103000 miles and have a front wheel bearing going out. Really loud. I have purchased new bearing / hub assemblies and need to know the torque for the 4 bolts that hold the assembly to the front end?

I just do mine tight using a long half inch ratchet but the spec is 149 ft lbs from what I can see on any reference sheets. Good luck!

Paint pen won't work as new housing may have different dimensions.

If you want your bearings to last forever, pull your speed sensors and force fresh grease in them early on and then every 50k. My'04 has close to 600k on them. My '14 has 215k

Thanks all... The swap out went very easy. Great idea about adding grease. The new hub assemblies came with speed sensors already installed so I didn't look inside. I pulled the sensors out of the old hubs, and the hub that was making noise had a lot of metal from the bad bearings, and no visible grease. The other side was clean inside, but pretty much dry.

This is my 4th Ram, and the first time I have ever had a wheel bearing problem. The other three had well over 150 thousand miles each when I traded them off.

I used to poo poo that procedure but I'm a believer after having read so many accounts of success. Ram Man's videos are pretty convincing.
