The saga continues... .
Took my truck to Mountain Truck and Equipment in Longmont. They told me they pretty much new what was wrong with it and that they could test it and tell me what was wrong, no problem. After taking time off of work, arranging for a ride, and driving past many dealers to take it to a "place that knew what they were doing", I explained what the truck was doing. The guy said, "had a truck in here a little while ago doing the same thing. We had 2 weeks into it and now we know what to look for. " I also asked them to adjust the valves. The next day I called them to see if it was done. They said, "we don't have the tester to read your truck, so we checked the grounds to the computer then road tested it, and everything looked ok. " Boy what a disappointment. After asking them about the truck that they had two weeks into, they fessed up and said that they had to take it to the local dealer who found the problem. Hopefully they adjusted my valves correctly. I now have an appointment at my local dealer to get to the bottom of the problem. I'll keep ya'll posted.
