im thinking of redoing my fuel system on my 06. it only has 27k, but i like to tinker. i have a question. when you hooked that WIF sensor to you filter, do you think if i replaced the filter houseing (stock) on my truck that i could wire in that stanadyne sensor so theoreticaly the WIF light would work on my dash? and what all filters do you have currently? just the 2 micron? (i have read this so much im confused)

Good question about the factory WIF sensor. I think it would be a nightmare to get it to work with the dash, but I'm not sure.

I run the factory old-timey (10 micron) filter followed by a Stanadyne 2 micron filter.

you would think that the WIF was a two wire set up (not hat i have looked yet). but who cares about it not that anyone would wait that long anyway before draining... . when you disconnect the stock filter houseing and WIF connectors, does any light stay on etc?

im planing on making a system with the Aeromotive marine style pump and regualtor. i had gread luck with there products on my old race car.
