Ryan I used large channel locks the first time with no issue but the wrench is the proper tool.
Until I purchased the Lisle wrench, I also used a set of channel lock pliers. After several swaps, the sensor was beginning to look like it had been chewed on by a dump rat on meth.....

Thanks. I do carry a couple of channel locks with me, so I will use this and order it when I replace my next filters.

Seriously now I may need to actually carry that wrench and a set of fuel filters and all the correct tools to change em out in the field/ en route/on the road.I'm only a recreational RV driver for personal use , almost there but got couple tools to add ,.I try to be a good Boy Scout.
Wife sez need to leave here but I keep telling her there's good intell here
be prepared , she has blind faith in the truck ,sorry I don't recall

That's quite an extension. I'll have to look into that, beats the air wrench I used the first time to get it off. - yeah I cringed too.
