Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel Heater Fuse Keeps Blowing

The 40 amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse block keeps blowing. It used to last a couple months, now it blows as soon as I hit the key or even replace while running, any ideas?

Sounds like the heater element is shorted. I do not believe it is serviceable . I think you have to buy a new canister to get the heater as it is an integral unit .
