Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel heater/water in fuel sensor

i put a FASS on my truck in a hurry about a year ago, now that it is in the shop awaiting a VP44, i have time to clean up a few things. i left the stock fuel filter canister on the truck and just stubbed and capped the lines. if i take off the canister and disconnect the water in fuel sensor (that doens't read anything anyhow since this part is bypassed now) and the fuel heater circuit (that doesn't do anything either) will it send any bad signals to the ECM? can i just unplug these and let it go at that? what i am after is to clean up the engine bay a little bit, plus i will get a little more clearence when installing the new steering bushing and shaft.

I have been running that way for about 15 months with no problem. Brad at FASS said he got rid of his on his truck years ago. I was a bit apprehensive at first but things seem just fine. I ran 3/8" marine grade line from tank to FASS to VP and 5/16" marine grade on the return.

Mines been MIA since 2004 and not one prob. WIF light will pop when it rains and water gets in the plug... but that is just my lazyness on that one..... UM..... might want to give this bloke a shout... ...

Mines been MIA since 2004 and not one prob. WIF light will pop when it rains and water gets in the plug... but that is just my lazyness on that one..... UM..... might want to give this bloke a shout... ...

good day. yes you can unhook it the water sensor and have no problems I'm running the FASS for three years and I took off the old filter when I put the FASS in. The only thing is when you get the water sensor plug wet the light will come on intell it drys. But I never had a problem with it.

Shoot me your SN..... I dont deal with the papers directly... the ladies file thoes when the come in... . and give me copies of any notes on the papers. BUT, i see A LOT of notes!!! I can pull your hard copy and read what you put.
