I would like to install a Fuel Pressure gauge at the inlet of the fuel filter. I have a 2007. 5 with the 6. 7. I would like to know how my fuel pump (in the fuel tank) is doing plus I intend to install the XX-Fuel filters before the main fuel filter and would like to ensure they are not plugged.
My three questions are: Is there a quick "T-fitting" that can installed at the inlet of the fuel filter that would make the install of a gauge with a 1/8 NPT (male) inlet dead simple? I was looking at the Banjo Snubber at Geno's but I'm uncertain if it will work.
Would it be too silly to install a second gauge on the outlet of the filter as well?
Does anyone have experience with "Jegs" fluid filled gauges? I was going to buy "Earl's" but the "Jegs" gauges are "on-sale" for $15. At that price I am considering installing two, one on either side of the factory fuel filter.
Any input would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Glenn
