I'm moving my lift pump down on the frame rail and I messed up when I bought fuel line.

I didn't realize that the line going up to the engine is mostly a plastic line. After I cut the steel line by the tank, and connected it all up, I found I had maybe a foot of steel line D'Oh.

So I only bought 5 feet of hose, thinking I needed a bit for the connections at the pump and filter housing.

The rubber line I was using says LOL PLUS 6 LOLA+ FLAME RESISTANT 300PSI Seems to be some tough hose. I just told them I needed Diesel safe line and that's what they sold me.

Now I have some other fuel line, says FUEL/EMISSION LINE 30R7 50PSI. Is that line ok for Diesel? The shop I got the good stuff from is in Boise, and only open M-F... and I kinda need my truck to get to work Monday.

I used the the 30R7 on mine. I believe the 50 PSI is the working pressure, burst pressure is probably 250 PSI. The 30R9 has a higher working pressure but is more expensive. Do a search for "30R7", lots of info. Good luck.
