Where can I buy Delo 400 at a good price and in stock?

When is DC coming out with something like this?

A friend gave me some fuel magnets he had on a tractor. They are the type you zip tie to the fuel line. Has any one tried the magnets. I doubt they do anything but the price was right. They are supposed to increase fuel mileage, horsepower and make you lose weight;)

Seen em, never tried em. My question is if you take off the magnet what happens? All the crap goes into the engine at once?

Take one of those magnets or better yet a strong cow magnet (you put it down a cow to attract wire etc) and light your acetylene torch with a small brazing tip on the end. Hold the magnet near the flame and you will find that you can bend the flame but after it passes by the magnet it will try and return to its original path. I have to believe that the same thing happens to fuel or your water line or whatever the magnets are tied to. It may have some influence as it passes by the current field but returns to its predestined course immediately afterwards.

The flame is really a sort of ionized gas- very hot and charged. This means there is current. Although there are both positive and negative at the same time. Current is affected by magnetism. There is a way to make power from this effect- I believe it is called ( large word ) magneto-hydrodynamic effect. The more luminescet ions may be of one charge. The less luminescent the other charge. To prove that the flame is actually bent and not just a portion put your finger in the original path, if you remove an undamaged finger then all the flame/ions are bent. If you pull back a stub then only the luminescent portion was bent. This was a SWAG scientific wild @$$ guess.

It is funny that some engineer thought that magnets wrapped around a steel line ( which would shunt most magetism through the steel ) could effect a non polar liquid. I think marketing had something to do with it. If the field was very strong there would be a temporary alignment, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging uses this( NMRI or MRI ). Fields that stong will pull a steel spliter out of your finger, or send an oxygen bottle through a patients skull. I don't think those litttle magnets are that strong.

Just want to say this is an excellent post. :)

I use them on my Cessna 152 and can now fly nonstop to Hawaii and still have enough fuel to buzz the beach when I get there. "hey yall watch this"

Well with fuel prices going up every day I installed twelve of these on my fuel line and have not noticed any appreciable difference in fuel economy:D

scam...Naaaa

This sounds like the same guy that was selling magnets to put on your in-coming water line to your house. It was suppose to purify the water from metal contaminates and realign the water molecules for soft water? I think the guy died of lead poisoning or something like that... :D :D :D

I don't know, I meet a guy a couple of years ago. He swore up and down that it gave his Lincoln about 3 to 4 extra miles a gallon. So I spent about 20 bucks at Jc Whitney for one and I saw absolutely no change what so ever in mileage in my old '95 Dakota and I was driving to work about 35 miles each way. My diesel gets close to the same mileage 22 vs. 25 mpg and is way more fun to drive.

I attached a big magnet to my front bumper and get excellent fuel mileage by tailgating cars in front of me. I often just put in neutral. :D

Now that I would like to see. :D

Like a tractor field. I like that Idea. Make them drag you.

Hey what does it mean if the mri makes you sick? I was gonna puke and was dizzy for a while.

A friend of mine is a nurse and works in an MRI mobile unit. So I managed to talk her into letting me test out this magnet theory. After getting my truck into the MRI unit I am getting unbelievable fuel mileage! And believe it or not, it makes no difference weather the MRI unit is on or off. Of course I am very careful not to have any loose change or pocket knives in my pockets. And all of my cassette tapes are now blank.

Believe it, magnets make engines run on less fuel. Please call me if you are interested in homes with ocean views in Iowa.

I tried one the magnets on my last gasser pickup('82 F-250 w/400 V8). Just tried it for the heck of it. Wasn't expecting anything from it. I actually (consistantly) gained 1mpg. with it. Hand calculated mileage checks before I got it and after. Nice surprise.

No change on the '86 diesel.
