What are you guys using for fuel pressure gauges? I am searching for quality gauges that match the stock truck gauges but can't seem to find a fuel pressure gauge. I want gauges that will accomodate higher boost & future modifications. Also, is it possible to monitor pre and post fuel filter pressures? If so, what else will I need to order.

Thanks, Ron

I have the Westeck gages from Genos andd am very happy with the looks/performance of them, they have the black background and white numbers/letters , the kit comes with a red and green condome for the lites , I used the green condom so it would match the other gages.

Yes you can do like I did with mine, I bought 2 senders and 1 gage, I also got a small switch from Radioshack and mounted it next to the gage , now at a flip of the switch I can read pre/post psi and figger the delta P across the filter as well, I wouldnt have it any other way.

Incase you are wonering what the lite is next to the gage ??? it comes on when I am transfering fuel, I did overfill 2 times before the lite but since I put it in as a reminder I havent overfilled.

Cheers, Kevin

I am using a Autometer Ultralite mechanical FP guage. Went the electric route but went through three sending units in four months. With the mechanical guage I don't have to worry about the guage going out. Works for me. :D

Thanks for the replies, i'm guessing that for pre & post filter readings, the gauge has to be electric. (at least for a simple installation)

I have pre and post mechanical gauges, very accurate and nothin' to break, I just ran the hose from the filter to the gauge, no leaks and no problems. I'm using SW gauges from www.xks.com

I don't have them (yet), but if I had it to do over again, I would look at the Dakota gauges (if you like digital gauges).

Dakota Digital

JUst ordered Dakota Digital FP gauge. I got the rectangular one as it looks like it will fit in that useless "storage" cubby hole where the seat warmer switch goes, if you have them. I'll update when it is in.

Only about $80 from Summit for the gauge and one sender. I think the sender was around $35 and is a separate part number if you wanted to get two.

I just mounted it down low, as I don't look at it more than a few times a day.

I just installed the Dakota Digital FP gauge this weekend... Had a little trouble with installation (first sending unit they sent me was defective). Now that it's installed, it looks pretty good. It's a clean looking digital gauge. Only problem I have right now is that the damned thing runs HOT! I can't figure out why, but it is extremely warm to the touch. But the DD gauge is a good choice IMO in the absence of an analog gauge with the correct range.
