i have a 99 dodge with 88,000 miles on it and read all about how problematic the lift pump is and how its necessary to have a fuel gauge on it.

anyone have any tips on the install... ... ... power source to use, what gauge and where to mount it? etc. any info at all would be much appreciated. electrical systems arent my strong point.

so far Geno's garage seems to have everything i need.

thanks, Jim

Diesel Manor has kits with all the parts needed. I ordered my set of 3 gauges, and it came with really nice instructions and parts. I saw Vulcan has nice sets too. Both are Isspros with their mechanical fuel pressure gauge, which I like. Do a search, look around and see what look you like. Then go from there.

Isspro electronic from genos. very easy to install and they stand behind their product. I mounted mine, along with turbo press and egt, on the pillar.

First of all let me envy you for only having 88K on the clock!!! I'm at 284K right now. I went with 2 Westach electric gauges (pre and post filter) from Geno's in a triple pillar mount. Nice and easy install and looks good too. They even had a small can of paint to match the interior. A big plus one for Geno's.

Got the Isspro mechanical gauge and all other stuff needed from Genos. Mounted under dash with their rubber donut mount just below the cubby hole, works perfect and it's a great place for it. Out of the way and easy to see.

hey guys thanks for the ideas. i went with the westach gauge from geno's and it fits great in the cubby hole. super clean install for only one gauge. the "piggy back" add a fuse was a God send. made install all the easier.
i was blessed/very fortunate when i bought this truck in texas about 6 years ago with only 33,000 miles on it.

guage is reading 9 psi at idle, and 6-7 psi at 70 mph down highway. i have the fass ddrp on back order at geno's (due in stock march 10th). im not feeling comfortable about what the pressure will do pulling a heavy load... ... ...
anyone know of any troubles with the fass ddrp before it gets sent out?
thanks again for the suggestions.
