Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Radiator fan clutch

I got my gauges installed, fuel pressure gauge with the fuel isolator doesn't act like I thought it would.

At idle it sits around 10-12 psi, sometimes as low as 7psi and S... L... O... W... L... Y climbs up to 10psi or so... at WOT it sits at around 8-10 psi also, I expected a noticable drop when I hammered down on it, but it hardly moves, if at all.

I think the culpret is air bubbles in the line going to the gauge, what do y'all think???

Thanks in advance,

R. J.

just wondering how far would you estimate is your gauge from the isolator?

my kit says more than 6' and you have to bleed antifreeze all the wayup to the gauge.

don't have the answer as I am in the install prosess myself just wondering

I like the stacks how much was the kit?

The isolator is about 3 feet, no more than 4 feet from the gauge. A friend of mine installed the gauges while I was at school and he said he had installed FP gauges with the isolator before so I assumed he knew how to do it. I think the LP is good but I can't go off the gauge b/c its not working properly, a FASS is in my future though.

One other question...

He drilled and tapped my manifold for the pyro (pre-turbo) about 3" from the turbo flange, but right dead center in the middle of the manifold, not in the rear runner (volute) like most do, will this give me bad readings also?

Gauge seems to work fine goes up and down when I expect it should but I think it seems a little off temp. wise. It reads what I think is too cold.

Any ideas?
