Kind of interesting to watch the news and see that the price of fuel has gone up 30% in one year and then later on that same station states that big oil is reporting profits of 38% gain over last year
Somebody tell me this is a free market #@$%! I think not, but more to the tune of price gouging #@$%!
They are just a little slicker than ENRON at hiding the internal memos.
In most free markets I have studied, there is always an alternative product to choose from. Sooooo, anybody got one

Hydrogen is dream that can only become reality if we as a country are willing to go Nuclear Power. This would drop the cost of electricity and give us an economical way to product large volumes of hydrogen. For years state government, and federal government have made it hard to develop an alternative let alone use one on a big scale. The enviromentalist have all but shut down the ability to pursue this because every move is challenged in the courts and with impact studys.
The major car manufactures have the ability to roll out hi-mileage economy cars. Anybody care wonder why they have not. They say that we were not interested in such things. Just like in the 70's when they got their clock cleaned by the Japanese Auto Industry, they are having to play catch up again. . GM says over what, a dozen cars that get over 30 mpg

Give me a break, why are they not making vechicles that get 50+. The Germans are doing it, Japan is doing it.
Once again Corporate America has missed the mark. Why is it that this country can creat wonderfull technology and then ignore it.
Somebody, anybody pleeeeeeeease answer that. Hello, Congress, State Goverments, are you guys listening or just sucking up more bribes.
I guess I am throught with my RANT
