Interesting 6.0 L power stroke article

WOW I Witnessed a PSD Death (Locked up)

Cost me $ 43. oo dollars this week at 1. 51 a gallon at Cenex

Last week it cost me $50. oo last week at 1. 59 a gallon.

I usually fill up at around every 600 miles. So she's got an empty belly. Again diesel is higher than gas. What a rip. For get any road trips till diesel goes down.

I know how you feel. I paid 1. 49 the other day just north of the Twin Cities. That is the hightest price I have paid yet for fuel and it sucks if you ask me:mad:

My normal fuel stop is at $1. 61 and at the new wally world station by work it is at $1. 46. Saved a few Penny's on last two fill ups. Jeff, every 600 miles? man mine is more like every 400 miles:(

Mike

I just filled up today, and I don't think that I've ever paid more for diesel. Winter & war will only make it worse as heating oil and diesel for tanks, etc. compete for crude refining. $1. 36. But a guy in the next island said that this place was cheaper than any place he'd seen in 300 miles, except GA. Glad I got 21. 5 mpg, though (1316 miles, 61. 1 gallons). :D

i just paid a 1. 59 in pa. whatcha gonna do . maybe buy a gasser. dont think so. grin and enjoy my rig. still is cheaper than the old 350 gmc that only got 10 mph! boy that sucked.

we were well below gas around here until our fargin bastage governor hiked the diesel tax 8 cents... . to try to get the big rigs... .

now the rigs go right thru the state just like they always did so we are getting hooked.

Like tntway said, our fine governor decided to raise the diesel fuel tax by 8 cents. You know that he doesn't drive a fine Cummins:mad:  If he did he would have raised the gas tax instead.

I am paying $1. 56 at my local station.

diesel prices

Right now on the Central Oregon Coast the price of diesel is $1. 35 hopefully it either stays that way or gets lower. . The prices in Portland were $1. 49-$1. 56 which is odd .

:D

Here is some information

that could help drive down prices at the pump!!

Every time you fill up the Truck, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy our fuel from.

Major companies that import Middle Eastern oil (for the period 9/1/00-8/31/01).

Shell... ... ... ... ... . 205,742,000 barrels

Chevron/Texaco... ... . 144,332,000 barrels

Exxon /Mobil... ... ... 130,082,000 barrels

Marathon... ... ... ... . 117,740,000 barrels

Amoco... ... ... ... ... . 62,231,000 barrels

If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION!

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil: Citgo 0 barrels Sunoco 0 barrels Conoco 0 barrels Sinclair 0 barrels BP/Phillips 0 barrels Hess 0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and can be easily documented. Refineries located in the U. S. are required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. They report on a monthly basis.

Keep this list in your car; share it with friends. Stop paying for terrorism... ... ... ... .

But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. It's really simple to do!! Now, don't wimp out at this point... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!

I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) . . and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!

If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!! .

Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people.

How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!!
