Does anyone have the Schied 2oo4 Videos ???

TSB & Recall info @ Dodge?

I pass a BP on my way home and it has had gasoline for $1. 53 for the last week. Diesel in town seems to be running $2. 09 (Speedway, Marathon, Shell) - the Marathon I fill up at has been at $1. 99 for the past month. My wife is starting to question my choice of vehicle. Too bad she won't let me drive HER Miata...

Capitalism gone awry...

I consider myself a capitalist, but this has run amok :(

As has already been mentioned, diesel requires LESS refining to produce

There is a difference between profit and GREED #@$%!

My CTD is now PARKED. Im driving my Corvette. I can buy Prem Unleaded for 50 cents less than Diesel and I get 23 mpg on the freeway. This fuel thing is total BS! These SOB's that have dealers in my town that own more than one dealership, have a 20 cent diff between each station and they all but from the same CROOK! These jerks are surely ripping us off, as they are laughing when they leave work and get into their new BMW's. The news this morning we will see $3 within a month or so.

Off road diesel is looking better and better. It isnt colored unless you pay the extra 2 cents a gallon. . The highway department can kiss my #$%^&*

WTF??? Why isnt our wonderful government getting involved with this rip off? Not one thing was ever mentioned by Bush or Kerry regarding the rising cost of fuel. I think that they are both on the take. . This is CRAP!

Hmmmmmm

I am NOT going back to my '95 Ram Gasser. The CTD get's better mileage, and is a boatload more fun to drive Oo. Prices go up... prices fall... . I ain't giving up my new truck! For the first time my WIFE even agrees with me :-laf

And that is why Corporate America is it's own worst enemy! They're asking to be regulated!!!!! Remember your history and it was these clowns in Big Oil at the turn of the century that brought about all the monopoly regulations... ... to bad we have an administration that doesn't care about the screwing we're getting!

How about congress, which could at least start to make a little noise about the situation, and if they're the Democrats you'd think they'd start screaming in the news (which could sway voters if the Dem's could show that they're helping the little guy) about the Administration and the Republican's inaction on the situation, but it seems to be a non partisan problem. It seems nobody wants to step up and touch it...

It's hovering right in the $1. 95-2. 15 or so in Michigan depending on location relative to expressways, etc... I'm basically coming out even since I switched up from a gas powered truck. Burning more expensive fuel, but burning less of it...

How's that Corvette working when you've got your 14K 5th wheel attached. I really would like that 23mpg... :D :D

Too bad we have an administration that is lead by someone who has a lot in common with Sam Cook (Don't know much about history). Too bad he was stoned and doesn't remember Vietnam.

:-laf Who would even think of using a Vette to pull... . It would be a nice idea if it would work. actually, I had a trailer hitch on my 65 Corvette 327/365hp back in my high school years, but only hauled my dirt bikes to the dunes! Worked just fine and got alot of thumbs up! My CTD truck is used 99% of the time to commute. I have a 30' Salem but my 71 Chevy truck also pulls it just fine on $1. 99 regular unleaded now that Diesel just hit $2. 70 today! Not to mention that the Chevy pulling mileage is about the same as the CTD. It just isnt as fast on the hills. I personally don't care about how long it takes to get to the top when the cost at the pump is alot , ALOT less! Actually my 71 Chevy gets more thumbs up than my CTD. Everyone in my town has a CTD. The 69-72 Chevys are getting rare. At least the clean orig ones! :-laf

I called a Pacific Pride Dealer I deal with in Calif and he quoted me $2. 20 a gallon on diesel. It seems that the local crooks here in Southern Oregon are giving us all the royal screw on prices. :--)

$2. 27 in Hamilton Montana, $1. 86 for unleaded... feel sorry for these construction workers driving around in their new diesel 4x4. Around here you can easily do 200 miles a day just to get back and forth to the job site.

On 2/16 I posted that it was $2. 38 in Richland. Now on 2/20 it is up to $2. 49 :{

On a trip to Yakima today, I saw prices up to $2. 65... give me a break! Regular unleaded is around $1. 98

I rest my case! Ill be in the Corvette tomorrow! I did drive my CTD to Church today. It fits the family a bit better than the Corvette ;)

I said it before & I'll say it again. This entire economy is moved by 18 wheeler's. These fuel prices are going to drive up consumer prices. The inflation will have the potential to stall the economy. The best thing we all could do, including the truckers is to stop driving diesels. That would get the consumer's, the government and the economist's attention. Then and only then will the prices be brought under control. As long as we by it they will keep the prices high and most likely going higher. DO NOT expect prices to drop much when warm weather arrives. We have proven to the oil companies that we will pay these prices, and they will gouge us all they can get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a thought. What would happen if all Diesel Drivers including 18 wheelers combined and picked one major oil company to boycott. That company, after a short time would have full tanks and no customers. Might force them to rethink their pricing and then they might drop the price to regain market share. Just my . 02 worth.

Mike :)

Not that it will help too much, but I am an Oregon resident even though I am stationed in Korea by way of Texas. I just wrote Senators Wyden and Smith telling them we are being fleeced and they are doing nothing about it.

I recommend that you write to them also, go to these websites and send them a message.

For Washington residents:

Those sites are direct into the send a message, click on it and start typing. Cant be easier, lets start griping.
