Off Roading Gateway gumbo mudders

Without drugs???? Probably, otherwise I believe 886 is the highest I have heard talked about. There might be higher HP trucks out there, they just don't talk.

Jim, how close (or how far out to lunch) was I with the pressures?

The boost pressures are what I posted, like 78-79, the B/B was making 30. That dang air temp I can't get over, I've just never seen it that low. I made some hard runs on the road prior to the event and I was seeing the same thing. I haven't started leaning on this turbo yet, nor putting fuel to it. It is a haze at max boost with 181's.

The new things that are in work will be interesting, one in particular will get allot of people's attention if it pans out like we want!

Even though the stock motor really wasn't that bad other than shrunk pistons ect I don't worry about this motor throwing stuff out of it (which would stop me) When I step back and look at it now it was money well spent, I'll look at that girdle and 14mm studs and smile.

cool beans

..

Jim what do you think the truck would put out on a Mustang dyno?Because the race truck in my sig puts down 552 /1287 on one... yet puts ALOT more down on a dynojet. . with not much correction factor. It would be curious to find out.

I really don't know, the only Mustang I've ever ran on I spun. Put me on a load dyno like Piers's and I'll take that, he said it will normally be lower. I believe it has more to do with running at 1 to 1 (direct).

Hey GF, what are you up to. Good job for me, what about you! You passed up anything I've ever done with a 180 pump by a long shot!

Terribly kind of you to say, JF... :) I think I'll have Fletcher help me turn her up a bit in the spring, and maybe get me some of them fancy Dragon Fly injectors (my 370's are overdue for retirement).

Your truck ought to kick some serious booty on the track with that kinda power. Oo.

Yep, those 370's are a good injector but the dragon flows are too sweet.

I found a few issues that cost me some HP without a doubt! I'm trying a few new things and hoped it would be down and back up by next weekend but now I have to go on the road so it will be a little longer, probably just get it torn down! I hope to re-dyno in the middle of the month sometime.
