I recently signed up for a lifetime membership at a shooting school for when I retire. Now, I'm starting to receive emails regarding Adgenda 21(?), which, as I understand will confiscate our weapons.
For the school, I'd like to buy a new 9mm. semi-auto handgun (Glock-19 or possibly a S&W M-P 9mm. ) I have quite a few revolvers (S&W-. 357's/. 38's). If the government is going to steal our weapons, I'd just as soon not let them have a new semi-auto. that I had just purchased. My question is. What do you guys think about the possibility of the government taking our weapons? How much of a chance is there of that happening? Are you thinking about the possibility of this before your new gun purchases? Any other thoughts?
The fact that I have to be concerned about such a thing happening in my Country is just disgusting, to me. I can't believe that we have TWICE elected a government that would even consider doing this to its citizens. The ability to defend myself is quite precious, to me. I grew up in Detroit & did not have that ability due to strict gun laws. At the same time, Detroit was the "murder capitol" of the U. S. I, now, live in Arizona where owning a gun is protected. What a difference!!! However, most of the people in Detroit, at least the ones I knew, were wonderful.
Thanks.
