G-56 Shifter Problem

My buddy has a 05 with the g-56. When in gear the shifter has a lot of side to side movement/play. Anyone ever run into this problem? If so what parts did you need to fix it?

My G56 has well over 125K on it and is still very tight so I dont know what changed on your friends.

103000 miles no problems with that here, except for the popping out of reverse problem.
