GARRETT GT3782R Turbo Charger and installation kit SOLD for $1565 on ebay

I am selling my Garrett GT3782R Stage 1 but with modified BILLET Compressor wheel. This is the BALL Bearing shaft and WATER Cooled turbo. This is just above a Stage 1 but not a Stage 2. I bought the kit from TOM at Turbo Re-source. Tom set the waste gate to 38 psi. I only put 8,000 miles on it. My truck is STOCK and a STICK shift. I went with the Garrett because My stock Holset was leaking oil internally. This is a bit more turbo than I needed for stock injectors and my truck being a stick shift. I ended up having Tom rebuild my STOCK Holset.
There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with this turbo and when I removed it last year, I flushed the oil passages with clean oil and blew out the water cooling passages on the turbo body. I then capped or sealed ALL passages and all compressor and exhaust inlets and outlets. This would be fantastic for an AUTOMATIC truck with small to big injectors.
My understanding is that the full kits are hard to find with all of the coolant and drain lines. This one has all that came with the kit. I believe that the two unused lines were for a SECOND Gen. install. ASKING $1075. or best FAIR offer. I have the original double walled shipping box and installation instructions. BUYER pays ACTUAL shipping either UPS or FedEx Ground.
I can be reached through a PM here or by PHONE 10:00AM to 8:00PM PACIFIC Daylight time: 805-466-6858

Oh wow! I just bought an early release Garrett stage 2 that has more miles but less $,
Im excited to see how mine runs and i expect the new owner of this one will be pleased! Cheers!

You should do real well with the BBI .5 injectors and the built automatic. Just when I would get the boost up, I had to let off to shift.

30 days too late  I just put the Garrett Stage 3 on mine for the same reasons you did, 2003 HO NV5600, and took it to 8600' with stock injectors. The long cooling pipe to the water pump, oil drain pipe, and hoses were lacking in the kit I got. (Redneck install it is on mine now.) Towing it has enough load to wind the Garrett up and smoke free above 2K RPM. Tuned I had to keep an eye on EGT's towing till I find a sane tune. I have not run it on the stock tune even though I considered it so keep that in mind for my low RPM smoke comment. (The factory turbo smoked tuned...) Howls like a fire engine siren winding down at 5PSI and then hushes up at higher boost. You can hear it wind down after engine shutdown. I was surprised it will build 5 PSI or more boost at 1500 RPM. Then again I don't mind using the upper RPM band to the point the factory turbo really didn't suit my style even unloaded. (It was ok, just not ideal.) Even so any boost below 2K RPM was a pleasant surprise compared to my other hot rod diesel that takes 2K to light the turbo period.

If you have a picture of how the cooling pipe to the water pump housing is *supposed* to go that would be a great help to others finding this discontinued turbo as the OEM instructions are simply horrible for this kit.

Simply put the Garrett Howl will put a grin on your face. It's not obnoxious say like with a whistle that gets old quick like other turbos I have had to put up with. Thanks for your and AH64ID's posts on the turbo as it let me know what I was getting into.

I had the stage 2 on my 03 with a 6 speed and loved it. The plumbing is fairly straight forward, altho I modified mine from how they said to do it. You take the heater pipe that goes form the bottom rad hose area and goes up to the heater box and remove the front piece. It is a 2 piece pipe and you remove the front part and basically replumb it thru the turbo.

Hey man! You running stock inj with "box" Smarty tuning?
I'm getting my exh elbow tomorrow, then I'll be trying out my Garrett! :)

Dropped the price to $1075. The drop should easily cover shipping. Should be less than $100. I'll throw in my STOCK exhaust manifold same price, just pay shipping.

Somebody buy this thing! Great deal on a great turbo.
It can be upgraded to a stage 2, the one I just bought has been. They machine the exh housing & put a larger turbine in.
