Garrett Powermax Stage 2 GT3782R Install/Review

Sounds good. The one I am running now will but a couple others I have tried would surge under my 7k load at 70-75 depending on tires I run 35 or 37s. With my set up it takes very little pedal and gets great mileage. In direct at 2500 I can see the fuel gauge drop on a long grade

How fast do you tow?? I could do the math, but OD, 2000 rpms, and 37s is FAST!

What is your boost:drive pressure like at 2500? Just purely looking at the load I burn about 20-25% less fuel in 5th at 2500 and 60, than 6th at 2000 and 67. If 6th would take 100% load dropping 6 mph and doing 2500 only takes 75-80% load generally.

So is this turbo a good choice for someone like myself, with only a Smarty Jr set to #3 and no other fueling? (Maybe some 50 HP sticks someday but thats it)

The 03 is a little lower rated, but that is all the fuel I push thru it. It's mainly a turbine upgrade, with a slight increase in compressor flow and decent increase in compressor efficiency.

I have 4. 10s so it's not too crazy. I doubt I have ever used even half the pedal towing up grades unless it caught me unaware. The Airstream slips through the air pretty good. A quad and dirtbike in the bed with a few hundred lbs of fire wood. The boost up steep grades is about 20 psi in od with the 35s at 70 with the current turbo,havent spent the time to ck drive pressure since the boost is fairly low

I recently installed this turbo.
I am very pleased with it.
It has freed up power above 2000 rpm, spools nice. My truck is stock with 75 hp injectors only.

No,trust me it has a lot left on the table between 20 and 40 psi

I didn't think about 4. 10's, those would be nice some of the time. . well mainly in OD.

The 410s with 35s are about the same as 373 with stock tires

T... The only negative thing I can say is the instructions blow for the water line pipes. I would have never figured it out unless I saw the photos at the beginning of this post.

I agree. The outer pipe just wouldn't line up. So I took the "extra" pipe they gave me and cut it and did my own plumbing. I don't have any time on it yet but a 4000 mile round trip to Columbus and back next week should break it in Shad

Hey all, I just found a good used gt3782r stage 2.

My question is that this turbo comes with the 03 exh elbow,= 3.5" So do i buy a 03 down-pipe?
Or should i switch to the 4" exh elbow that's on my he351cw?
Will this smaller elbow help spool a little?
I'm assuming i could swap elbows??
