Gauge Lights Not Working???

Where to find a Tach setup

It's down there by the trans temp gauge. Just added a few longer wires and moved a few things around inside the message center box. Time consuming but not that difficult.

I just don't like anything on top of the dash. Except my guns! Looks cluttered. Just my opinion.

Oh, yeah, I see it now. I remember someone last year posted a pic of three gauges in a row where the message center was. And, he had placed lights between the gauges for the message center indicators. I'll see if I can find the pic.

gauges

Take a look at my posts . one of them has an in dash gauge set up that I designed.....

Finally rounded up the dough to purchase my guages. Since I have a '93, I'm going to go the easy route, and get Isspro gauges since I can use the factory tach plug-in under the dash. Went out to Isspro's new web page and found the following part numbers:

Tach: R8501 (3k) or 8503 (4k)

Tach install kit: R8912-92

Boost: R5623R (60 psi)

Pyro: R605 or R607G (w/ color)

Trans temp: ???? couldn't find one

Question 1: Is this what you guys with Isspro are running? If not, do you have your part numbers available so I can look at the gauge on-line?

Okay, on to mounting kits. I'd love the tach to fit in a steering column pod. I see Autometer lists a PN 15012 single 2 1/16 column pod, but its listed for '94 - '02 (except '02 1500). My column on my '93 looks very similar (if not identical) to the columns in the '94 trucks. Would this fit? Anybody tried it yet?

The rest of the gauges I believe will go into a 3 guage pod that sits on top of the dash. Any recommendations for a nice dashtop pod?

I want to have my data straight so I can start calling on vendors and get these on order ASAP.

Thanks

ARhine, us gear still has the 3 pod but not the 4 pod, i just bought a 3 just like yours, pretty good fit as well, they're not listed on the website, you have to call them pod part# dc-6530 base part# db-5930

Yep, they are very nice. I didn't want to drill the dash so I ran the wires out throught the provided area on the right side. Put some split loom over the wires and it looks good.

Here are pics of the Isspro EV tach and sensor arrangement. Gauge mounted with Isspro cup:[/IMG]#ad

Back from the dead... :)

This is a good thread about the availability of various gauge mounting options and such... but it is almost a year old. Any updates from anyone for us?

From what I have found, the current available mounting pods for our 1st gens are:

1 or 2 gauge A pillar pods from Autometer or ProPods
Dash pods for up to 4 gauges from PDR
1 gauge column pod for '94 - '02 trucks apparently will work for us late 1st genners...

Anything else still available?
