What's the best guages (egt, boost, trans. temp. ) that are easy to read at night? I have autometer and have a problem reading them, would like it to look like factory. Thanks Ken

DiPricol and Isspro EV rated as best night lighting.



I have DiPricol EGT and Boost. Excellent night vision. Also have Autometer FP, Z series... . night vision sucks.

They work great and are quite easy to read @ night.

Greetings, I just purchased a Isspro EV pyrometer, I am slightly puzzeled by something, whats up with the electronic modual, is it a relay ? any help apreciated, Doc

Doc, I think that's an amp to boost the signal from the thermocouple.

Here's what the TDR didn't tell ya

The DiP's have great lighting, except the egt. gauge (unless they have since changed). My DiP. egt. doesn't have an illuminated needle, as do the oil temp. and boost gauges. It makes for a difficult gauge to read at night. Perhaps I am dating myself here with a older DiP. gauge, but egt gauge is not user friendly in low light.

Bigsaint is correct....

My Di-Pricol egt gauge doesn't have an illuminated needle either.



I can still read the gauge at night, but I gotta work at it. And, even then, it's sure got my Autometer Z series FP gauge beat, and it's mounted on the steering column. Very disappointed in the poor night illumination of my Autometer.

Isspro EV gauges are factory looking,and easy to see at night.

I INSTALLED CYBERDYNE GUAGES ON THE PILLAR. THE RED LED WAS TO MUCH OF AN DISTRACTANT FOR NIGHT DRIVING. THESE GUAGES ONLY DIM HIGH AND LOW, NOT VARIBLE LIKE FACTORY. I APPLIED SOME LIMO TINT TO THE GLASS. WORKS GREAT. ALSO INSTALLED SOME MICRO (RADIO SHACK) SWITCHES TO TURN EACH GUAGE OFF IF NOT NEEDED.

I INSTALLED THE BD GAUGES FROM BD I REALLY LIKE THEM I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE ELSE USING THEM BUT THEY ARE WORKKING JUST FINE AND ARE EASILY SEEN AT NIGHT
