Just got back from Christmas in Florida. Truck was parked for seven days in the parking lot and it started up just fine and dandy. But as it warmed up I noticed the GEN light was on. Looked at the volt meter and it was putting out about 12volts. I kept my lights off and all other stuff and drove the 42 miles back home with my fingers crossed. Truck made it home, where I checked the fuses under the hood and saw nothing burned.
Will clean terminals, though they were cleaned a couple months ago.
Tach and everything else is working fine.
We have had an awful lot of rain, and I wonder if another connection got water logged. I've had zero charging problems, and truck always starts with no pleading.
Short of pulling the Alternator, anything else I should look for?
