Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Geno's Banjo bolts

I received the tapped banjo bolt from Geno's Garage along with two o-rings. One o-ring fits loosely under the bolts head, but the other has a smaller inside diameter and can get past the bolt threads and no further. Are these the right parts? Will the loose one leak? Will the tight one crack? Whatever happened to copper crush washers? wouldn't they work better? My Autometer Pro Comps (2 5/8" size) are here and going in on Saturday.

the banjo bolts use a gasket not a oring.

Okay, poor nomenclature. They're metal gaskets with rubber surfacing. The ones I have are not the same size. Do the proper size gaskets fit tight or loose about the banjo bolt?

I got the set of five banjo's from Geno's and the gaskets were in a "Cummins" bag, so they were definately the correct ones - and they "fit" - snug, but not too loose or tight, on the smooth part of the bolt.

The Cummins’ sealing washers, part number 3935171, fit snugly on the bolt, one on each side of the banjo. If the washers are a different size, at least one of them is wrong.

Both should be the same size and snug, just went through this hole deal. I realize this is a seperate subject than the washers but, have you checked to see if the bango bolt is tapped correctly, there has been alot sent out with incorrect tap that people have had to retap themselves, just a suggestion not meant for anyone to get there panties in a wad..... hehe

Yep, it's tapped correctly. I went to the local Cummins NW store and bought myself two of their washers. They fit properly and I'll be using them. I think the two I got from Geno's will find their way into the spares bin. Thanks everyone for the input!
