A couple days ago I contacted Robin, at Geno's Garage, with a question about a part. The question was whether the tapped banjo fitting advertised for a fuel pressure gauge on a '981/2-2007 might also work on a '94-'98 where the banjo fitting connects the fuel supply to the injector pump. Robin asked other staff members if they had an answer. Several staff members said they had been asked that question before, and thought the diameter of the banjo fittings were different. However, no one knew for sure. Here comes the customer service part. Andy, one of the staff members there, actually used one of the trucks there, a '97, and pulled the part off to see if the advertised part might be compatible. Unfortunately, he found the diameters to be different. When was the the last time anyone contacted an internet parts supplier with a question like this and the supplier in turn pulled a part off a truck to answer the question? I've never had this happen before. Customer service is why I'll always go to Geno's Garage first when looking for parts. Thanks Robin, Andy, and the staff at Geno's for your professionalism and commitment.
