I'm in Griffin GA, not too far from Garmons shop. I drive a grey 96 with a high top camper shell, and silver homemade bumpers. Its hard to miss. :D I work in Coweta, Meriwether, Fayette, Clayton, Henry, Spalding, Pike and Lamar counties, so I've probably seen a few TDR guys without knowing it...

Being the keyboard/website navigating barbarian that

I am, I just now figured out how to look around in my area. Can't believe I haven't seen Big Ugly yet, we live in

the same dad blamed town and it's not real big. Was in Savannah today chasing parts for the boat, saw a real nice white 3500 in I-95 pulling a good sized RV. Hopefully I can catch up with a few of you folks one day, maybe we'll have to have a TDR lowcountry shrimp boil.

I'm driving a flame red '03 3500 quad cab, black tool box, Rhino Liner, tag says trawler, say hey if you see me.

hey willys, I'm origionaly from Griffin. From the south side in the Hillandale subdivision. I go down that way quite a bit since both my mom and g-mother live there and being the family Jack-of-all-trades, well, you know ;)

david, I wouldnt mind dropping by, but Ive got to fulfill my National Guard obligation that weekend :( gotta be up in Kennesaw.

Hey Drew,

That's cool, I'm off South Sixth, I know I've seen Hillandale before...

What color is your truck? I've seen a white one that sounded like yours must, but I'm thinking it was a dually?

NICE! I KNOW I've seen one like that around Griffin, when I get my air horn mounted I'll let you know I've spotted ya! :D :-laf

Buford area here, 3 miles from the Mall of Georgia. Been looking for some TDR members in my area with trucks faster than mine. I'd love to meet with some of y'all and to get some ideas and possibly have a BOMBING party in the near future. TDR badges will be ordered soon, other than that truck is not very distinguishable except for the black smoke that is regularly shooting out the tailpipe.

They just had a big shindig this weekend on the south side of Atlanta, Ga people are geraing up for racing, go check out setdr.org for when and where

I prolly would have droped in on that get together last weekend. Had something called National Guard Drill.

maybe next time

edit: BTW, just got my TDR logo on the front, just check my pics for other distinguishing marks

RJ, I am just north of you near Gainesville. We will be heading down to Silver Dollar Raceway April 23rd for some testing. You are welcome (even encouraged ;) ) to come with us. The track is about 3 hours south of us, about 1. 5 hours south from Jeff's shop.

Sounds good to me, I know exactly where Silver Dollar is. You don't ever go to Commerce for the Friday Test & Tune (run what ya brung) do you? We make it up there about once every other week and I rarely see diesels, and if I do they are Ford and Chevy, I'd like to see them get smoked by a bad*ss Cummins. Let me know what time all of this will be going on and I'll be sure to make it down there.

almost forgot, does anyone have stacks, or better yet, know a good place, preferably close to my location for me to get stacks? I'm thinking about 5" or 6" miter cut and all the parts I need to build my setup.

Thanks again

RJ, some of us were there for opening day. I used to go on Friday nights on a fairly regular basis but it just got too busy. I hated having to sit in the lanes waiting. Commerce is only 15 mins from my house too. :( But you never know... I'll show up every now and then. Mine is a Black 98 2500 4x4 QC with 33's. Has my Diesel Performance Motorsports, Pro Loc, Black Magic, and Bye Now decals on the back. And Garmon decals on the Qtr. windows. If you see me, come say high. :D

I will without a doubt come and talk to you if I see you. I doubt if we'll be going tonight, my truck is finally at the dealership getting the VP44 replaced after almost a month of my trying to kill it. I swear, the p0216 code is enough for any other shop to make a claim to Cummins, but they wanted me to wait until it died and had to be towed there. I hate service managers at dealerships. Oh well, hopefully it will be like a new truck when I get it back.

Do you know of any big truck exhaust shops in the area that I can get stacks, reducers and pipe from? I'm itching to cut that hole in my bed.

-R. J.

Most of the guys get the stuff from big truck shops. I honestly can't tell you any by name because the only thing I bought was a 5" stack for other reason's and I got it from NAPA truck. Buster of Grand Muffler in Marietta can bend 5". He good but the price reflects it. Aside from that, Jeff makes most of his stuff.

Mike bought a bunch of stack stuff of E-bay. You might try there too.

I was thinking of going tonight, but my 3rd car is down right now and I don't want to risk breaking without a back-up ride, and the wife isn't gonna be happy if I take her dually if mine breaks. :-laf But I can't wait to run it. Last time out, it ran a 13. 85 at 400hp, now it's at 550. Should be good for a high 12 I'm hoping. It used to be clean down the track, but no more. Lots of smoke.
