Competition 12v Head Porting

Competition Now which gear?

Hey guys, my fiance and I plan on attending the SEMA Show this year, and it will be our first one. How is SEMA for the diesel guys? I have registered already online, and I was wondering what all I can expect when I am there. I am just looking for some experienced show participants, so I have an idea before I get there.

Thanks in advance!

Bodie

not sure of the diesel booths... . BUT wife,I, and some friends are going too.

Nice little benefit of having an LLC :) - course mine is more of a tax writeoff and a way to mod my and other buddies trucks ;)

1. Bring good walking shoes.

2. Divide the halls into sections. Avoid the tire hall unless you need to go there. You will suffer from bling-blindness after an hour.

3. Bring lots of cash for food.

4. Highlight your maps as to the vendors you want to see.

5. Leave 30 minutes before the show closes so you can get on a bus or the Monorail without having to wait an hour.

No secrets other than those. :-laf

Cool, I will keep all that in mind. I saw they are having some offroad events outside, are those at the same SEMA show or somthing different?

Thanks Guys! Maybee I will see ya there. :)

Try to get a hotel thru SEMA (some discount but won't be much) that is close to monorail. If you are there multiple days and are going to use monorail, buy two or three day pass. Otherwise you will be waiting in two lines, one for ticket and then another one to get on. We stay at the Sahara, its not the best but the travel going that way is less than the other way. You can also walk back to hotel if you haven't walked enough already :D. The outside off road part was in parking lot and is part of show. If you want to drive or ride, go the first day its open. Last year GM had set up in another lot, not part of show area, down by Sahara, that allowed you to drive the new vette on a small course as fast as you dared. No burn outs, right. It was worth the trip to drive one. Like said before, stay out of tire section. Look for the food sections away from main hall in front, there are less lines. I always walked into the truck, suv area and it seemed less crowed. Your going to have fun.
