I think you'll have to mount that in the bed, maybe some furnace filters could be oiled and fitted over the inlet. I would go 14"x8" reducer off the compressor discharge piped up and over the cab, through the right fender and 8"x4" reducer to the intercooler inlet.
Exhaust should be 5" off the manifold, follow stock routing under the cab and elbow up into the turbo. The beauty of this setup is the turbine will discharge directly into the low pressure area behind the truck, providing better than zero backpressure to aid in spool-up. I doubt it will spool like an HX35 however, there will be considerable mass to spin up.
We were at a open house at a railroad a few years back. The diesel engines that power them are awful big. The had a turbo for each bank of cylinders. They looked to be about that size. Jeff
