I just received my GDP MK-2 kit and was inspecting the various components. I have read several posts that advise that a fuel pressure gauge is necessary.
Is it?, on a 2006 HPCR with a CP3 pump?? That is question #1.
If a gauge is required, why couldn't I just drill and 1/8 pipe tap the top center area of the filter mounting base and install my sending unit in this location ?? I understand that a hole would also be required in the bracket and red appearance plate. Who cares if this sending unit location works?? That is question #2.
