Nice job Don  . Must be nice to access the bed with the longer step. Hey, is that dog in the pic. going for your front tire  :D .

Scott W.

Got them at US Truck for $499 and $37 shipping. They are Chromed Stainless. They bolt on to the Body supports and there is no drilling. Everything fit. I like them. In Black they were about $350. :D :D :D

Scott,

Smoke is TDR trained, only messes with Duramaxes & Powerstrokes. :D :D :D

Just got a set for my girlfriends truck in black. She needed them especially to get in the back of the bed. (she's pretty short... OOOPPPSSS I mean vertically challenged ;) )

We'll be installing them this weekend & will post pics. She has a regular cab LB.

Looks good

Don

I wish I would have waited and got a set like those instead of the Westins. I don't have any complaints on the Westins, but it never fails after I've got the 5er hitched up, I need to get into the bed for some reason. I then have to use the "step-on-top-of-the-rear-tire-method"

Scott, you can tell by the look on that dog's face, he wouldn't even think about it, besides, didn't ya notice the big puddle on the concrete slab? How do they keep Smoke's water dish filled???

Hey Don, those look great. Won't work for me as I am about to add camper mounts that need the space in the back. I grew up with a lot of cattle dogs like Smoke and am looking at one flaked out on the couch right now.

Those are cool. Is there any problem with flexing between the cab and box? I would be especially concerned about this when loaded.

No Problemo!

Ken,

They fasten to the body pads and are not connected to the bed at all. There is no flex with my 195 lbs bouncing on them. I adjusted them to where there is 1/4" clearance up to the body. You can set them for more clearance if you want. ;)
