First, I'm about to try to set up an appt. to get a new Goerend transmission/TC setup installed. Other than the obvious advantage of getting the power to the ground, will I see any other advantages such as fuel mileage increases, etc? I'm a little dissapointed with the power I'm getting with my setup and i think it's getting eaten up in the TC. Also, I'm not fueling much over stock b/c I know the stock transmission w/ 252,00 mi can't take it.

Second: Any guesses on what kind of power I'm making with this setup? And if I add a set of EDM 370s after the transmission work? Thanks! -Josh

You may get a modest gain in mileage. I did. I also gained 10# boost with just the new transmission alone. No other changes.

Maybe low 200's on power.

I think i picked up 1 or 2 mpg a couple weeks after i got my transmission done (i was playing the first week or two :-laf ) You will love it.

A little off subject, but i notice you have "Hogue cam" in your signature. How do you like the cam? and was it installed alone, or with other bombs at the same time?

Dave

Dave- I installed the cam at the same time that I did the port work, intake, 3k GSK and exhaust. I was previously running a straight piped 3" and Amsoil high flow air filter. Just got it back on the road two nights ago after being down for about a month. Took her out for a couple of easy test drives and it ran excellent- smooth as silk. We finally stepped into hard a couple of times after getting it warmed up to operating temp, cooling it down, and bringing it back up. It seems to have a ton of air, and is spooling the turbo like crazy. I think I'm just way underfueled. Nothing to back up all of the air flow. -Josh
