So you now have a larger turbo??

If so, then the lower boost thing is normal for cruising.

If it starts getting too hot kill the OD and run 1:1 I am having to do that more and more now.

A comp box will only make more boost on the top end.

yes a larger turbo and higher egts and to get temps down have to gear down or drive faster. was wondering if different setting on EZ would help this. I havn't had time to see where it is set at now.

Can anyone tell me the advantage of TST,EZ stack over an Edge comp alone.

And what EZ setting with larger injectors and turbo is the best. I havn't had time to experiment yet.

Can anyone tell me what size housings that a BD super B single turbo have?

The TST/EZ or TST/Smarty will yield maximum power.

The Edge Comp is a fueling and timing box.

The Edge EZ is a timing box.

The TST Comp is a fueling box.

By running the TST and EZ you get maximum timing and fueling (more so than the Comp can deliver on its own).

I am thinking you got a turbo that is too big :(

Does the Smarty get rid of the top speed limiter and how well will it work with my Drag Comp?I like the no tq management. Should be OK with my trans. Tires probably won't like it. Went to have the tires rotated the other day and guy said I should leave them alone cause the fronts had more tread :-laf :-laf

I said put them on the back cause they will even out real soon :D

I should have my new Edge comp box in a day or two Hope it will bring turbo to life a little sooner. I should have researched this a bit more I really wanted full boost at 1800-2200 rpm a stump puller if you will. not to just start picking up boost at 2000 rpm. My primary working range is 1600-2000 rpm. was hoping for max torque at this range. Would making the upgrade to the twin setup help me here? I have half the set up already.

Which pump wire tap is recommended the replacement cover by edge and tst or to tap wire any pros and cons for each. as a tech myself I like the cover option versus compromising the wires integrety.

Just use a Posi-Tap :)

You need to get a billet input at the very least before you even think about twins (I have already said this, but I am really trying to help you save some money in the long run. )

The Comp + injectors = russian roulette for the input shaft AND TC :(

By a positap do you mean a scotchlock. this is what I want to avoid to prevent damaging integrity of wire and harness. We have a lot of road salt and chemicals on road not to mention the mouse sh#$ that is hard on this also. How many tc's and inputs have you seen break do to Hp?

Posi-Tap is a similar product to the Sotch Lok but It's a superior design. It pierces the wire with a sharp pin to make contact. The whole thing screws togethr & makes a tight seal. I got a pack of 6 at Wally World for $5. 77.

same concept it still will breaks copper wires when pierce happens and opens wire sheath to outside contamination.

It's much less likely to break the fine copper wires than the Scotch Lok. The sharp point will push them aside where as the Scotch Lok brackets the wire from both sides & may actually cut a few filaments. . In any case where one taps a wire, the sheath will have to be opened in some way. Resealing is the trick. The other option is to strip a section & solder your extra wire in. Then you will have to wrap that or seal it with silicon. In the real world, the Posi Tap works very well & is easy to install.
