Good (and cheaper) source for Stanadyne pencil injectors

Howdy all-

I have an Oliver 1655 tractor that uses Stanadyne pencil injectors #20498, in a Waukesha 283 diesel. Come to find out these injectors are very application specific, and nothing cross references. John Deere/Case pencils are much more common, but different and of course I had to buy the oddball tractor. Anyway- does anyone know of a good source who may have a hookup cheaper than list of $91/each from Stanadyne? Maybe a site sponsor here?

Don't know if what your looking for is in here but Ive had good luck with EVERYTHING I've purchased from them. I think I'd waste a dime and call before I ordered.

That is a good source for anything tractor/ag related. They have several yards scattered around the country and are a good source for new and used parts. I've ordered several things from them for my Oliver tractor.

Thanks guys for the replies. Those are my regular go to sites. However some of those listed for the are not for a later model 1655 (same as White 2-70), and to further complicate things while the injectors physically look the same, the orifice and pressure specs are different, which is odd they would list them as fitting the different machines with obvious engine differences (turbo/non-turbo, displacement, etc.). I will have to start calling around.

Try Wengers in Myerstown, PA. They were a source for many farmers back there.
