I believe my pilot bearing has seized up after 120K miles. Time for a clutch job. If anyone can recommend a good shop that knows what they are doing, it would be greatly appreciated.
I would also highly recommend Ken. He's busy as heck all the time but give him a call tell him I said to squeeze you in. He gets there real early so give him a call. Jeff
I was kind of hoping to find a local shop. I really don't want to drive it any more than I have to. It's making some nasty noises when I try to come to a stop. I don't want to trash the input shaft any more than it probably already is.
I just ordered a South Bend 13" Con O. Also getting the Quad 4x4 HD ball pilot bearing.
Hopfully I'll be done in the clutch department for a while
you can try Brower Transmission in Stockton. They have done all my transmission work. Great bunch of people to deal with. Their # is 209-463-2700. Gary
