i posted something on the competiton forum and im not getting many responces so maybe you guys can help me out.

You all know what i plan on doing to my truck ... 550 + rwhp ... What kind of suspension set-up would you guys recomend to get all the power DOWN to the GROUND. . I know ill need ladder bars. . Who makes a good ladder bar for drag racing. . I wont be taking this truck mad offroading and if i did id take the bars off so i dont care about how low they are and what not... Also what suspension system would you guys recomend? I saw a 03 ram with a 2. 5" lift and it looked cool but how would it perform at the track???

Please help

Thanks

Nick

Hopefully you have a LSD? That's very important when drag racing. If not, you are SOL 'til the aftermarket industry comes out w/one. Unless, you want to spend a lot of $$$ to have a DC unit put in.

You won't have a problem getting traction with 4 315s putting the power to the ground. My old truck (490+ hp, 12. 9 in the 1/4) would barely chirp the 265s when leaving at 15psi (1. 8 60'). No need to worry about suspension with 4wd!

4 link is a waste of time in a 4wd. It works well in a 2wd allowing a higher boost launch. Properly setup you should be able to launch and have the same 50' times. 4 link allows weight transfer to the rear increasing the traction. You do not need this on a 4wd truck. :D
