bolted on a htbg with 12 housing last week ...

my truck dyno'd 338 hp / 700 tq with the hy on just the injectors (jammer 4's)

with the htbg below 2000 it's ALWAYS within 2-5 lbs of boost and 50 degrees of the little hy ... but at 2000 and above it's 100 - 200 degrees cooler

with the ez hooked up i can't get past 1150 ...

i went as far as stopping at the bottom of a steep hill on the 4 lane and making a 0-100 mph blast

i am flat amazed ...

no more holsets for me on anything that's modified ... they're great stock turbos but that's it

maybe i'm lucky and got the exact right combo ...

spend the extra $ for a stronger turbo that wastegates all 6 ...

same here ... just depends on throttle/load ...

seems to be opening the wastegate at 35-37ish and if you stomp it hard it'll hit it by 2000

i just can't get over how quick this thing spools ...

of course a month ago i had 35's, a dtt and a hx55

now i've got 235's and the htbg

I bought my HTT 62/12 when I was at 300hp. Bought it for later improvements and mine was blown up. Spool up was great still, however if you don't plan on going higher then 375 HP. Go with the htbg, less money and quicker spool.

CSchafer, so you're saying if I plan on sticking with my current setup(less than 375 HP)I should go with the HTBG. Did you blow up your HTT 62/12 or your stock turbo?
