Got to love it when a plan works out! John we are off to Tokeland to go clamming next week and maybe play a little golf in Raymond at Willapa GC. Might even drive down and check your summer home. Chris

Nice rig.....you'll really enjoy the Aisin and 4.10's if you tow heavy frequently.
I just spent the past two days towing our travel trailer across New Mexico and today into West Texas.

I absolutely LOVE this truck!

It easily pulls our travel trailer up moderate grades in 6th gear and the steeper grades effortlessly in 5th gear. It'll actually accelerate up those steep hills in 5th gear with only partial accelerator application. It's like a locomotive!

Going downhill, the automatic mode of the exhaust brake is a wonderful feature to have. It holds the entry speed at the start of the hill within +/- 2 mph all the way down... like a cruise control in reverse.

With less than 2000 miles on the odometer, the truck has been averaging about 10 mpg towing across varied terrain (mountain passes, flat lands, headwinds, tailwinds, etc.). I'm happy with that.

It was nice meeting you today John, thanks for all the information on your bed cover & truck. you guys have
a safe trip back up North. Mike

Any chance you will be passing through my neck of the woods on your way back north John? If so let me know, maybe it can buy you a cup.

Hey gtoli,

Thanks for the offer.

I'm not sure of our exact route yet, but if it looks like we'll be close to Winslow, I'll PM you well in advance so we can arrange a meet up.

Best regards,

John L.
