Gooseneck Hitch install with Airlift Bags

Looking to install an underbed Gooseneck hitch on my 2001, but looks like the airbags will interfere with nearly all brands that I have seen.



The Airlift bags mount right where the release lever would exit the frame rail area, and also interfere with all of the frame rail mountings that I have seen. Also, I have a 5" exhaust that could pose some clearance issues.



Any ideas?

I just put an invertaball in my 03. It releases using a mechanism at the ball instead of the handle that comes out the side. They are avilable at diamondhitchinc.com.

As for the big exaust and how it mounts to the frame I have no idea. Shoot them an email and see what they have to say. Seemed very knowlegeable when I talked to them. Good luck.
