How does it sound? Is throaty? I have a Walker on their now with A DRONE, I would like a similar sound with out the drone.

Forrest, do they have any 5" mufflers that aren't too long, I might add one with the resonator I have if they do, Donaldson makes some real good pipe.

Devildog - It has a throaty sound alright. I'm sure the neighbors like it better. Those early morning takeoffs ... sometimes you just can't help it. The old muffler was basically just a 12" long resonator with nada else in the system except the HX40 rotary muffler. It was pretty loud alright. It's lots quieter now, but louder than stock with that great 4" sound.



Jim - I think I saw something on their site with 5", don't quote me but ck out the site &/or call them. They also have different diameters.





The muffler bracket has to be relocated. The 1st shop said they couldn't do it ... lazy bast@%&s! I should have known, wait until m-f when Mr. Z's was open ... no problemo.



By the way, while Mr. Z's was putting it on, I browsed their "performance truck muffler" stack. They look the same from the outside, no where as long though, but internally they got the glass pack "louvers" sticking up into the flow. Restriction time!
