How snug are the extenda-fenders next to the body?

I took a look at their install instructions here:

http://www.bushwacker.com/Instructions/50904.pdf looks the vinyl strip functions as a gasket to seal out dirt and or protect the paint. Are there any gaps between the flair & body at any points?

I might want to change my flairs to these or the OEM Power wagon style.

Mine seem to fit pretty snugly, but I've seen others that had a tiny gap here or there. Seems like luck of the draw.

Thanks for the input, I like the Extenda-fender look better, especially the tapered front edge on the front fender.

I had bushwacker "oem style" flairs on my white 02 and they had that black gasket, seemed to fit ok. I had a body-shop paint & install.

On my 05 I have the ATS that stick on, a closer look I see just one has come loose so maybe a remount or an opportunity for change.

As I have stock width tires I'd like fender flares that don't stick out much. I know I've seen ones that are only about 1" wide, I just don't know who makes them. Anybody have any ideas?
